Artist Statement
I am currently investigating line as a physical object, rather than a mere mark or representation. Working between two and three-dimensions, I am interested in blurring the boundaries between drawing and sculpture, with a particular interest in how a line can interrupt or occupy space—not just describe it.
I am interested in the potential of a simple line, when lifted off the page, to redefine how we perceive space and surface, my work aim to construct lines that float, intersect, and cast shadows—engaging not just the eye, but the body.
In an image-saturated world, I am drawn to the quiet power of reduction—to what happens when we focus on the minimal and the in-between.
